  • Video on Chemistry and States of Matter - Students will write A-Z notes on paper and turn in at the end of the video
  • Begin Webquest on Matter - webquest is on paper and links to each site are found in google classroom ***this is not homework, we will work on it Friday in class

Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend despite the Browns and the Broncos losing :(

Objective:  Students will be able to read a scientific article and extract information to answer questions in an essay form.  Students will be able to draw graphs and extrapolate data from experiments.

Activities:

  • Monday writing
  • Graph Packet Practice - due at the end of class or else it is homework
*****At this point the airplane lab, penny lab and dot lab should all be turned in.  The lab should be turned in electronically and the graph needs to be turned in at my desk.*****

Today, students will be able to list the 6 steps of the scientific method.  Students will also be able to write a Testable Question when given a problem.

  • Continue working on scientific investigation notes on Testable Question (posted Friday and in google classroom)
*****Tomorrow we will be having a quiz on CONVERSIONS and METRIC MEASUREMENTS*****  Make sure you understand conversions and have the order of prefixes memorized, you will not be able to use your notes.
