I am combining these days because we are doing one activity to span the two days.

Objective:  Students will understand how humans can impact and ecosystem in both a negative and a positive way.

Objective: Students will be able to explain the different parts of the carbon cycle and the importance of each through reading and writing quiz questions.

Activities:

  • Brainpop clips on: Carbon cycle, Nitrogen cycle, Water cycle, Energy Pyramid and Food Chain
  • Carbon Cycle Quiz
    • In Google Classroom open Carbon Cycle Quiz document.  Each group will be assigned one slide you must become an expert on. Use the links in Google Classroom to the Discovery Techbook to learn about the Carbon Cycle (Carbon Cycle and Carbon-The Element of Surprise)
    • Each group must write 5 questions AND answers on their slide that could go on a quiz.  Questions can be multiple choice, true/false, fill-in, matching, short answer, etc.  ****Make sure you write the question AND answer****
    • With 15 minutes left in class each group will share what they learned about their slide
