• Go over how to graph and collect data
• Graph lab
• Correct penny lab graph/data collection

Thursday August 27th, 2015

Today we will be:

• Writing three things  we are thankful for
• Practicing IV, DV, Testable Question and Hypothesis one last night
• Write your own experiment in group table group
• Pass around experiments and indentify IV, DV, TQ and Hypo
• Go over methods and materials.

Today we will be:

• Writing three things we are grateful for 
• Continue practice on identifying IV, DV, testable questions and hypothesis
• we will use white boards, jigsaw activity and round robin

Monday August 24th, 2015

Welcome to your first full week of school!  Hooray!!!!

Today we will be doing something a little different.  We are going to look at our goals for 7th grade and a promise we want to make to ourselves.  We will look at the nonprofit "because I said I would" and watch Tedtalks from the founder, Alex Sheen.  We will look at what the difference between a promise and a goal is.  At the end of class each of you will fill out a promise card for the year.  We will display our promise cards on the back wall as a reminder of what we want to do this year.

Today we will see what you remember from last year as far as how to do an experiment.  Each of you will be conducting a Penny Lab on your own and fill out the document in google classroom.  Let's see what you remember from last year!
